Longleat Safari Park, Wiltshire

National Space Centre, Leicester

The space, the universe along with its almost infinite expanse has always been interesting to everyone, irrespective of age, it is a perfect place for you to visit with your family. Voted as the Large Tourist attraction of the year, it comprises of Six Space galleries, a Rocket Tower, a 360-degree full dome space theater and the largest planetarium in the United Kingdom.
Cost: The prices are £13 for adults, £11 for children above 5 and free for the little ones.

Deep Sea World, Scotland

The Deep Sea World is a great aquarium and an awesome place to visit with your family, located in Fife, Scotland. Providing you with a Diver's POV (Point of view) experience, this brings you heads on with the most ferocious and magnificent of the marine species. The long acrylic transparent tunnel is one of the longest in the world. It is one experience that will leave your kids captivated.
Cost: The prices are £13 for adults, £9 for children above 3 and free for the ones younger than that.

 
Thorpe Park, Surrey

Looking for fun for both adults and children, Thorpe Park is one of the best water-based theme parks in the United Kingdom. Packed with exciting rides like the Detonator, the Nemesis Inferno and many others, this park guarantees adrenaline-pumping fun for all. No description would do justice to this place, for you have to experience it for yourself.
Cost: £43 for adults, £33 for children and free for infants who are under 1m of height. The best deal for you would be to get the Family Ticket for £138, for four.

Alnwick Castle, Northumberland

Wouldn't it be a shame to have visited the United Kingdom and not having been to a castle? The Alnwick Castle in Northumberland serves as the perfect castle for you and your family to visit, especially if you have Harry Potter fans in the family. The castle is sure to ring many bells with them, for many scenes of the Harry Potter movies have been shot here. The castle also provides an adventure tour for the family.
Cost: £14.5 for adults, £12 for students, £7.3 for children and free for kids under the age of 5.

The Shard and Afternoon Tea, London

Last but not the least, this one is what one might call, a New-Age attraction. This stands as a symbol for excellent new age architecture and construction. For the fun part, they offer a tour called 'The view from The Shard', which you may combine with tea or a meal. Standing at 1016ft, comprising of 72 floors, it provides you a 360 degree, all around panoramic views of the city. This is the United Kingdom's highest building.
Cost: £90 for the family.
